We had a wonderful experience this weekend with the M.U.S.H.E.R.S. dog sledding team. It was such a unique and rewarding experience to get to know the dogs and the sport of dog sledding. Harnessing the dogs and clipping them into the sled was a bundle of fun and a great way to spend time interacting with the loving animals. Driving the sled was an amazing feeling and unlike anything we have ever done before. We highly recommend M.U.S.H.E.R.S. dog sled tours to anyone who is curious about the sport and loves animals/the outdoors or even to anyone who is looking for an adventure with great company. The owners and staff of M.U.S.H.E.R.S are delightful people with a lot of knowledge about the dogs and dog sledding. They made our experience that much more enjoyable. The tour is worth every penny and we would do it again in a heartbeat!

I'm not even sure how to put this amazing experience into words. We truly enjoyed it and cant wait to come back another year. The dogs are so friendly and cute, loved all the interaction and time we got with the dogs. Harnessing the dogs and getting the sled ready was tons of fun. The trails and natural surroundings are truly perfect for the ride.
Thanks for answering our questions and seeing your love and dedication to your dogs and the sport.

Hi Jenn and Becky:
Just a quick note to express our gratitude for such a wonderful day yesterday. It was great meeting you and Becky, the weather couldn't have been more perfect and the dogs were nothing short of amazing. I felt privileged to partake in the experience and had soooo much fun. Both Stephen and I were touched by the heart and soul of these dogs and how gentle and kind they were as well.
The entire adventure made the long drive to and from Newmarket so worthwhile, I would even say I'm hooked now and can't wait to do it again. I have already sent pictures and recommendations to all my friends so you may be hearing from a few in the future.
Your business is run out of love and respect for your dogs and it is great to see someone so young dedicated to their passion. I wish you all the best and may our paths cross again.

The clients of The Salvation Army Women & Family Shelter would like to thank MUSHERS for the wonderful day on Family Day.
Through the host family's generosity we were all able to experience an unforgettable experience of dog sledding and sliding on the luge run.
We are a homeless shelter for those experiencing temporary homelessness and just to get outside in the fresh air was a great experience. None of our clients have extra money yet that day we were able to have a great campfire with hot dogs and s'mores.
Thank you for your generosity MUSHERS.
We will be back.

Well all I can say is what an amazing experience given to me by an amazing family. Recently I had the pleasure of going to M.U.S.H.E.R.S not knowing what to expect; well all my expectations were blown away. I am a person who does not enjoy many winter sports but this is an experience I would do over, and over again, in a heartbeat. The family atmosphere and beauty of the day made me wanting to go back the second I left. The walking trails were well groomed and the lugging slides were both breath-taking and pleasurable. The most enjoyable for me was the dog sledding. I never understood the athletic wonderment of the sport, but after twenty minutes I found myself wanting more.
The day was truly incredible and it is due in large part to the hospitality and kindness of this sincere family. The family made you feel right at home, and their authentic family run business is what most impressed me. I am a person who is usually afraid to try new things but with the family’s encouragement and fun loving spirit, I felt right at home trying to guide the dogs on the beautiful trails. There’s just so much to do and say about what this amazing family and the day they have added to my life. I can officially check another thing of my list of things I must try in my life. I would like to thank the owners of M.U.S.H.E.R.S for giving me a day I will never soon forget.

We ventured out to take the Valentine Dog Sled Ride. Awesome...Well worth the trip...We did the moonlight evening ride complete with tiki torches set up...Served a nice cup of hot chocolate and great tasting cookies beside the fire-pit while looking at the starlit sky after. Skating at the pond was offered but due to handicap disability we were unable to participate.
Jen and her family did an excellent job creating a wonderful atmosphere for Valentine's day.
We so did not want to leave...we would recommend that you contact Jen and set up your own trip. This would be an awesome thing for a family to do together.
If you have a handicap issue don't hesitate to try this, you can ride on the sled and have a driver with you.
Check out the whole web site there are so many diversified activities yearlong.
All ages should try this activity at least once. There is no need to be uncomfortable with the dogs, they are well behaved.
We will definitely do this again.
This was a extremely well done endeavour.

Yesterday I enjoyed an afternoon that was so special – I am still beaming!
The family who will lead you through your visit is so welcoming and encourages you to become comfortable very quickly with harnessing and caring for your dogs - and the excitement of these affectionate dogs is infectious! It is obvious that a great deal of care and patience has been invested in raising them, and hearing how some of these creatures have emerged from situations of abuse or neglect to become part of this team is incredible. It is heartening that there are people like the M.U.S.H.E.R.S. who will take on this rehabilitation and I think the opportunity to volunteer or donate towards their work is a great one... It is a beautiful setting and the privilege of being able to take part in this kind of special experience is something I would recommend to anyone!
